Get ultra-high reliability equipment by using the right maintenance management practices

Maintenance success requires a systematic approach. This means using both the correct systems and methods, along with the necessary discipline and skills to perform maintenance work to high precision. The use of reactive maintenance (repairs are done after equipment breaks) is the most expensive way to maintain plant and equipment. Studies performed by industry organizations show that, depending on your industry, it is at least 3 to 9 times more expensive than planned maintenance. Modern industrial maintenance management aims to never have equipment failures, rather the equipment's condition is monitored to detect developing problems so that maintenance and repairs are done in a planned situation where maintenance costs and production loss is minimized.

World class maintenance management takes the 'never let equipment fail' vision further than just condition monitoring the plant and equipment and reducing maintenance costs by doing planned maintenance. World class industrial maintenance management looks at the total environment that impacts the equipment and manages that environment very carefully. The approach can be likened to providing 'wellness'. This is proactive maintenance at its best and delivers maintenance costs down to 25% less than the condition monitoring and planned maintenance mix.

We believe-in and totally support world class proactive maintenance management. The maintenance management systems that we develop for clients are heavily proactive maintenance focused. They are easier to install and reduce maintenance costs faster than the other maintenance strategies. Preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance are still used but the driver for lower costs is 'plant and equipment wellness' where the equipment environment is controlled to produce maximum availability and uptime to make more product.
