An Accuracy Controlled Enterprise (ACE) is a work quality assurance method focused on getting things 'right first time'. ACE is all about doing a job, every job, whether on the shopfloor or in the boardroom, masterly by being accurate in every task. An ACE puts 3T (Target - Tolerance - Test) task quality standards into their work procedures. Put simply, ACE 3T adds quality inspections and tests into job tasks. The 3Ts specify a Target to hit, a range of acceptable Tolerance, and a proof Test to check that a task was done right. 3T is a very simple statistical quality control technique imbedded into your standard operating procedures (SOP) that get 'right first time' performance from people.
