The Plant Wellness methodology is the next generation of asset management development and is focused on promoting and sustaining asset health, rather than the prevention of asset loss and failure that current asset management practices usually degrade to.
The Plant Wellness methodology is different to other enterprise asset management methods because it focuses on understanding how to deliver machine component health so a machine can be highly reliable. Once we understand what to do to get outstandingly long part lifetimes in a machine we then build the right maintenance and asset management processes and systems to deliver that high reliability to the machine. The natural outcome of that approach is the creation of the smallest and simplest business system to guarantee world class equipment reliability.

At the start you need to get known and your Plant Wellness Consultant services need to be promoted. You identify about 100 companies in your region who could use your business’ capabilities. Depending on your inclination you can visit people at their offices and promote yourself and the services you offer. Another marketing strategy is to offer public training courses in your region and advertise the training locally, then make follow-up contact with managers in selected companies.
You will get your business promoted on the LRS website with its own web pages and that will help to get you found by the Internet search engines. You should also get a webpage in the yellow pages and white pages for the cities you cover.
There is other low cost marketing that you can do, like speak at conferences and technical seminars, write articles for websites, write articles for magazines, etc.

You have some choice here. You can operate completely under the LRS logo and brand, or you can get a new business name and promote the license connection to LRS. There will always be ongoing marketing and you can access all that is developed for that purpose.

Everyone does this differently. There is no common method to getting Clients. Most of my work comes off the website and from people that went to training courses I run. After a while repeat business also starts to happen.
Licensee orientation and training materials.
Consultant training involves doing a 3-day training course in the PWW methods, with two more day allowed for covering details of the tools and techniques used in PWW. We come over to you and go through the whole methodology with you. Ideally you turn the three training days into public training and use it to promote your business too. A last two days include strategising with you on how to promote your business and how it can be set-up to best help Clients.
Marketing materials (advertising, power point presentations, etc.) available from LRS.
There is marketing content available in softcopy form, but we do not have hardcopy materials for Franchisees to use. It is expected that you use your own knowledge and understanding to develop and complete marketing materials suited to your region and services offered. As a minimum you would need business cards and a single page brochure introducing your services. As enquires come in you would develop marketing materials in response to the specific issues they contain. We would help you to develop the marketing materials if asked.
Available tools for Licensees (i.e. specialist LRS software).
We cover the range of available PWW tools in the training course. Most tools are spreadsheet or paper based on purpose. We strive to use PWW tools and methods that can be applied at the shopfloor. That opens up a far larger market for you than just Client managers, engineers and technical specialists. It also lets us work with operations management who need simple ways to understand maintenance and reliability.
When reliability modeling software is needed we typically use existing software developed by Others. I expect that over the years we will develop our own suite of PWW software, but right now we use Others software as necessary.

You can access me and others that LRS is connected with when you need. Distance and time between us slow things down, but all the modern means of communication are available to us.
How LRS services can be incorporated into a client’s ERP software management system.
Because we build the asset management system up from component Physics of Failure requirements we identify the shortfalls and missing content of Clients existing ERP processes. We then develop the means to address those shortfalls and identify what to do and how to assist the Client optimize their ERP management system. It is our diligence and precision that lets us find new answers for Clients that no other consultant will ever find.
LRS presentations and training that I can offer to clients.
There are a wide range of maintenance and reliability related PowerPoint slides and pre-prepared courses. When you are a Franchisee let me know what topics you want to deliver and we will use Dropbox to get what materials I have to you. But be prepared to alter and add to the materials I send you. You need to make the training content natural and logical for you to use.

The LRS website covers it all. We are a global network of small businesses. Instead of growing big ourselves and working 80-100 hours per week managing a conglomerate, we want to grow through licensing the PWW methodology so that we spread the workload, give people like yourself a chance to do what they love, get valuable diversity of ideas, drive innovation and improvement in maintenance and reliability practices, and create a deep pool of knowledge, solutions and manpower resources from which all Licensees can draw.

The pricing is an agreed percentage (%) of the gross turnover from using the Plant Wellness Way methodology and techniques. Basically, we get the agreed proportion of all turnover that goes through your Plant Wellness Consultancy. You pay monthly into our bank account by electronic funds transfer. This allows Licensees to work within the cash flow that their business generates without going into debt to become a PEW Licensed Consultant.
